Breaking Bad had me hooked from the start. If you haven't seen it, Dexter is another cracking series to get in to.

Dexter, Breaking Bad and Game Of Thrones. All Amazing and had me hooked from the start.
I was a late bird to the Breaking bad series but it provided great entertainment for a few weekends.
I am sad that the first two came to an end and even teared up a little when Debbie died in Dexter.

I watched the first two series, and got bored with it. I have the the third sereis but I can't be arsed with it any more, got fed up watching that silly cow of a wife of his, and that self-gratification artist Jessie. I'd like to kick that daffodil in the face, the tosser.

Breaking Bad is the finest TV show I've ever seen. I'm so glad that I was caught up before the second half of series 5 aired. It made every episode nail-bitingly tense.

I don't understand people who can't appreciate the character of Skyler. It's a show about people who become morally compromised. At the start of the show she's already a damaged, concerned character with plenty of conflicting emotions, given what she has been through with Flynn, she finds out that she's pregnant with a baby whose father won't be around to help her with because he's dying. Through no fault of her own, she ends up being dragged through a series of life-destroying traumas which are only worsened by Walt's maze of disingenuous lies.

Dexter was a great show as well, the key word being "was". If you're watching it for the first time, consider the end of season 4 to be the canonical end of the series. The original writers left after that and the new ones had no idea where to take it, it became like a bad fan fiction. Persevered through to the (bitter) end because we'd gotten so far, but Season 7 was laughably bad.
