You can’t get through Parliament sq. All roads in/out are cordened off. You could potentially walk through the crowd but I’d think that would be slow and annoying.

No, just someone who doesn't understand what contempt of court means. He found out the hard way.

I think he knew very well what contempt of court was (he'd already been warned), he went out of his way to be prosecuted (and nearly collapsing the case he claimed to be so upset by) so he could present himself as martyr to free speech.
