Well hardly drank any beers today. Was in too much pain so took to pain killers. Not great when round at the MILs all day perched on a hard dining chair. Tomorrow is off to B&Q to get bits and bobs to make a miniature stable for some horses my daughter has been collecting. No bike ride till after new year.

Another night on the settee.

No, tomorrow because he hasn't been to bed yet (I'm sure we had this conversation before!)

Must admit that when cycling to work last night a passing cyclist called out hello, to which I replied "good morning" at 4pm! Well I had only been up for 1.5 hours.

To point nope, no plans to cycle. As of 06:00 I'm off duty until Monday so until at least 12 I'll be asleep, and after that I'm expected to empty the loft. The first 6 hours should be fine.

I'm with relatives in Perth (across the country from Melbourne, and a long way from my bicycles ). 6 days cycling-free so far, and 4 more to go, then I'm back in Melbourne, and will be doing lots of mountain riding ). I can't recall the last time I had this many consecutive days off cycling. Oh yes, and the Brits are doing pretty well at the MCG on the first day of the Boxing Day Test.

I'm waiting on a plumber to phone - to come and fix the pipe which broke yesterday afternoon.
If he comes early enough then I plan going out for a short ride, otherwise it will be a day in front of the TV waiting for him to arrive.
