    Hi all,
I'm working down near Bristol this week staying near Junction 14 M5, can anyone recommend a 30 ish mile ride around this area, looking at the map its close to the Cotswolds but I dont know the area at all.

    Many thanks in anticipation.

You could look at heading out to Wotton-Under-Edge. Nice climb up to the Cotswold Edge Gold Club and then head out to Tetbury.

An alternate suggestion would be to head to the old Severn Bridge and take a trip out to Tintern. The climb back up to St Arvans is one of my favourites. I've only ever ridden this route on a weekend so I'm not sure what the traffic is like during the week BTW.

Do you like hills? What speed do you average? What kind of roads do you prefer.

Lots of routes I can suggest.

    Thanks for the replies guys,

    Jaded,
I need to get some hill work done as I've signed up for my first Rydale Rumble and Pendle Pedal during the summer, I average 17MPH around the hills near me East Yorks wolds.
I Prefer quiet roads but not so quiet that theres grass growing down the middle!
