I've done it as far as Dundas aqueduct (between Bath and Bradford). It's very nice!

I've done it in the other direction from Dundas, nice ride. I keep meaning to do it the whole way to Devizes (or at least to the Caen Hill locks) but haven't got around to it yet.

Yes. it's great, and will be soft underfoot at this time of year too, so a bit more comfy than the wash board surface I encountered.

It is a lovely route. Parts of it near Devizes can be muddy but it is very scenic. As Cunobelin has said, the whole route is lovely.

thanks for the info, from what im guessing i would need a mountain bike this time of year instead of a hybrid? Im also guessing that there are some suitable places to stop for 'eats and drinks'.

Thats what Devizes is famous for.... and the close families that live there..lol
