Just come back from a camp at Corfe Castle so know Swanage reasonably well and can't think of anywhere where he could be doing 35mph unless he was going downhill.

One of my colleagues asked me today how long it took me to ride from the town I live to work which is about 19 miles. I replied that it took me about an hour on average but varied according to what bike I was riding, if I had panniers, wind, cold, rain, etc.

She said her partner had just started cycling and managed to ride 19 miles in 28 minutes last week, into a headwind. Oh his hybrid. I'm impressed.
