If you want to become a Canadian citizen you are exempt from taking the test after age 55 but don't get excited anyone over 55 will die during their first winter.

10. Q. 10. When did the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms become part of the Constitution?

There's a Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms?

11. Q. 11. Which province is the only officially bilingual one?

Je ne sais pas. Does anyone?

12. Q. 12. What are the Prairie provinces?

What is a 'Prairie province'?

13. Q. 13. Where is the Canadian Shield?

What is 'the Canadian Shield'?

Etc etc
New Brunswick is the only official bilingual province. Quebec is French, the rest are English. I said the Charter of R&F was in 1982, but it could be 1980. Prairie provinces are the boring ones in the middle that are all flat and grow wheat and canola (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba). I was born on the Canadian Shield (northern Ontario) but I wasn't sure if it extended into Quebec. It's a massive rock that used to be a mountain range millions of years ago.

When I went to school, we had to learn some British history also, since we were once a British colony. I'm sure Australians will score high on the British test also.

Having written the 'Life in the UK' test exactly one calendar year ago, I can safely state that if this is representative of the difficulty level of the new exam....

You're all going to have to get used to a LOT more immigrants.
(10/10 UK, 16/20 Canada--that one was *hard*)
