British Red Cross Miles for Refugees

The British Red Cross is running the Miles for Refugees challenge in September.

The target is to cover a distance that represents the journey or part of the journey a refugee may have made over the month of September. I will be aiming for 285 miles, the distance from Paris to London.

There's an option of entering as part of a team, but not quite sure how that works. I was wondering if there are any other CCers interested we could maybe create a virtual team.

So I completed the challenge today at lunchtime, logging 311 miles over the month of September, and raised a bit over £400.

Happy to have beaten the mileage target, though my legs need a rest. And more happy to have also beaten the original fundraising target.
