Depends. I'm growing mine at the moment - or more accurately, it's growing by itself - but I'm God's own scruffy get and I like to think I can get away with it. But once you start styling it, you've lost and should have it cut, in my view.
Anyway, I'm a musician and we have a special licence for having long hair after the age of 30.
