Maria Leijerstam is well on her way to beat an American and a Spaniard to be first person to cycle to South Pole.

Amazing feat of endurance.I cant imagine how tough it must be pedalling a heavilly laden trike over snow for 10 days.
Despite living close to her home village I have to admit to not having heard of her until recently.
