Do any CC'ers follow any of the many videos available currently? I liked Debs and Tom but they have stopped now. Very interesting generally and proof you don't need to be a youngster to do this. Amazing world bike tour is good as well I think. It is certainly inspiring to see that the bulk of humanity is kind wherever you go. I also have a long term plan to go on a tour around the UK at some point when money allows.

Jethro Jessop is very good, a cyclist and philosopher.
Keep Smiling Adventures, also good, though he doesn't seem to take any cooking equipment just surviving on bought cold food. AND NO TEA!

Belle Toscan (Belén Castello), on her spin off channel from partner Tristan Bogaard has done some good trips over the past year or two. Vietnam, Philippines, Croatia, etc.
Tristan's channel has good content too.

Plus one for Jethro (& latterly Keep Smiling Adventures too) but a lot of these content creators come and go or have their output shaped by life events (I'm not sure I'd recommend a niche channel about bikepacking in rural Sweden but, due to his love life, that's what it's become).

Simon Willis' Always Another Adventure used to be all about the trips but now his interest has morphed towards how to adapt as an older athlete.

Slow Spokes and Pursuing Mountains both did European trips that piqued my interest but a weekend bikepacking in the states with their dog: less so.

Vincent Lederer did an Aussie lads trip across Europe. I doubt he'll produce anything that interests me ever again but his series was awesome.

Honourable mentions for Josh and Sarah, plus Tristan Ridley who've both seemed to head off on full global adventures but surely can't seem to get the volume of output to make it sustainable.

One not mentioned yet is Dan Cycles the World. He's travelling from Alaska to the bottom of South America, and taking a few years to do it. Currently in Peru.
He seems a really nice guy, and has such a positive way of appreciating the places he travels that I always feel good after watching the videos.
I don't recall whether he was always like that, or just recently - it's been a while since the early videos. Maybe start with a recent one (e.g. episode 35) to get an idea.

One of my takeaways from our recent few days to Edinburgh was that everyone we met or talked to on the way was really nice ....it warms you up a bit.

I follow a few (though don't "subscribe" to any)

Fietsvlogger | Slow Miles & Bike Travel - Mainly local rides in NL though occasionally other longer trips. Variable schedule.
Cycle Touring Festival - recordings of the Festival talks (so lots of videos over a short period once (or twice) a year)
ICE Trikes - Often technical of info relating to their recumbents
Bikes, Trikes & Razors! - some recumbent trike episodes but see below.
CYCLINGABOUT - some interesting technical reviews and some longer touring.

I used to monitor others but so many of the posted videos are just endless video recordings of somebody on their cycle ride. Either from on-bike camera, drone of Insta 360, watching somebody else cycle along a road or cycle path is not desperately interesting. I prefer those videos that have something to say.

But I have a significant backlog and find I watch more over shorter days in winter.

Lovely man and I've just bought his latest book (which I recommend) but he's full on swallowed the shill pill. I'm not sure he's put up a video that hasn't been commissioned by a local authority or tourist entity.

He's done a few dirtdash ones that he runs. I met him last July when I did the North Yorkshire Moors Dirtdash. Cracking route with minimal rd riding.

I think by securing funding for his work in advance of publication, he's probably got a more secure business model than those who've exposed their entire financial security to the whim of YouTube's terms and conditions.
