The second best soup ever.

You can't say all that without telling us what tops the chart...

and your recipie although not stating quantities needs more stilton. Any soup with cheese needs more.

Most of us get old and sad eventually. I'll be 65 at Xmas, some people think I'm old, I'm not sad yet, at least I don't think I am.

Yep, it's Stilton to taste. The top soup is a smooth leek and potato, finished with cheddar cheese.

Agreed. It's a regular feature of my diet, because it's healthy and I like its taste. Any food can cause problems if overused, so the solution to that problem is simple.

Another vote for purple sprouting / summer sprouting.

If i have one moan about broccoli it's the dark fungus that you sometimes find growing in the stems. Seems to be an increasing problem in the last few years.
