Hi,
I'm upgrading my Trek 1.5. I've sorted the drive train and now i want to replace the generic brakes. I have Ultegra SL kit through out and want these as the brakes,
But,
Are they worth the expense or should i be looking for something a lot cheaper. (they seem to be going for £70 pair)
Or can anyone recommend a pair that i'm not aware of.

well they are good brakes but if you dont want to be spending this kinda money on them then go for 105 brakes, there just as good!

thats a very good price!! ;)

didnt know they were still making 5500

I'm thinking of getting the rear ones myself as spare for my Ultegra 6600. And I beleive the pads are included so really your only paying £4 for the calipers! ;)

cheers for the replies. I lookws at those 105's for £25 but are they outdated in use or just an older model with different cosmetics.
I am sorley tempted though as cash is a little tight.
Damn new bathrooms.
