Get better soon

Generally teeth lost through trauma in an otherwise healthy mouth can be replaced by implants if necessary on the NHS............spend my life doing it.

Not according to the hospital who repaired me after my crash, 'we can remove them all for free or you can go to a dentist and have it done properly'.

Queue, three teeth broken at the gum line, three root canal and new zirconian teeth all for £1800.

Ouch !!

Slightly different.........the Root canal / crowns would not have been offered by the NHS Hospital Service as your dentist could have done them on the NHS for the usual fee of £219 or pay more for fancy Zirconia stuff like you did

Implants are an NHS Hospital Service.

Again wish I'd known that, money I didn't have and an option that wasn't offered.

I suppose I got to keep my tooth roots and I understand this can give more comfort than implants.

I quickly concluded that the hospitals around here are fairly poor when it comes to dentistry or referrals for onward treatment and their option of pulling all the teeth out wasn't particularly appealing.

Another life lesson!
