Broken V Brakes

    My 8 year old crashed into a park bench and broke the black V brake lever - the one that pulls the brake pads onto the rim?

    I spoke to Halfords and they want £13. I'm unwilling to spend this much when it's a crappy Apollo bike.

    Could anybody tell me what this is called to see if I can get it cheaper on the internet?

    Found them - V Brake calipers

    Not bought any yet but they're all £10+. To be honest. I'm reluctant to spend this because the bike's 2 years old and there's always something going wrong with it. Components are sh1te.

    I might wait a couple of months get him an Islabike. It's his birthday in August.
