I was 17 in 1975 and am struggling to spot much on the bike evocative of the era - I was pretty drunk during that time though - I do remember brown cars were a bit of a thing, whitewall tyres - nope definitely not here in the UK, Cibie fog lamps were all the rage to pimp up your dads Ford Escort popular to make it look like a Mexico but they had white covers with Cibie on them not some material from a knockoff handbag.

I remember ripped jeans, chains, leather jackets, studs, crazy hair, no hair, more studs and waking up on a traffic island on Whiteladies Rd Bristol in the early hours of the morning after pogoing all night to punk bands in the Students Union - happy days!

Introducing a new disgusting colour scheme and a high price to match does not shout innovation to me.

I would suggest a G Line.

I too thought that was a good idea.

I awaited their arrival with baited breath and much excitement. While they are a stronger platform and able to carry me without flopping about like a cross trainer they felt fairly mediocre to ride, whereas my inexpensive ID9 feels lively and responsive and similarly kitted (edternal BB, hydraulic anchs, etc. For the money they charge it should be the best 20" folder in the world but the ride is is distinctly average. I wasn't disappointed, just very underwhelmed.

I think I'm probably not the only person to grumble as they now do it with faster rolling road tyres, but Im not sure that alone will be transformative.
