Nor so much a review as a list of things you can get a folded Brompton in on a long trip out.

Could & should have spoken far more about its surprisingly good ability as a thing to be ridden IMO.

I know what you mean, I am always surprised that it is rideable at all.

Yeah, I got into a discussion elsewhere on here about its incongruous look as a bike that is absolutely offset by how well it rides.

It's the only bike I'd be happy to cart all the way across France on a train, and then ride it for a week. With luggage.

My decision to buy my Brommie was based on even less in an 'The Independent 50 Best Bikes' supplement. Mind you they were half the price then.

If it says it fits in the boot, train, rack and can get to the shops/office than that's it for a folder. Only later did some of us discover we had accidentally bought an extra road bike that can go places no other bike would go

That's a pretty pish review to be honest.

Martin Love is the best reviewer of bicycles they've got.
