I noticed that the autumnal colour change has now happened. Added 12 speed Dune Sand, Palm Green, Plumb Red and Cloud Metalic.

Another silly question... Why doesn't Brompton make at least 4 primary colored bikes ? Red,Blue,Green, Yellow ? Instead they always put out some pastel or off color. I know sometimes colors end up trademarked or copyrighted but really.

Society needs paint colours to be BSC or Ral (2 recognised standards) rather than the rubbish names (treacle brown or whatever). 2 recognised standards like Metres and Feet. It makes sense, but all the paint sellers use ridiculous names, and no general public can then find a match.

Perhaps because yellow isnt a primary colour?

Fair enough. So maybe the standard 16 color palette. Actual colors that may be recognized by government agency etc...Yes, on the wrong side of the pond many state dept. of motor vehicles won't allow a vehicle to be listed with some crap like mauve, burnt umber, sierra etc the stuff is brown. Smurftastic isn't a color either....

I just did a little research on Brompton. The profits dropped 99% due to alleged perfect storm post Covid. Now they will be under pressure to restore previous profitability and bring new exciting models or refresh current models.

EBikes are the biggest driven market, are Brompton selling a decent ebike, for reasonable money?

Interested because I converted this bike, easy 30mile range, loads of torque, 15mph 7 speed shifting

and if I was to buy all new items would be around £750-1000 today
