I got a second head for my VIO POV1.5 camcorder so that I can leave one permanently mounted to each bike. The mount is a velcro one attached to the underside of the standard Brompton bag. It doesn't stay level, and there's a fair amount of vibration (as the bag is rigidly attached to the head tube, but it's good enough for evidence purposes, which is the only reason for having it there. On the plus side, the relatively low position makes me look fast. :-)

A big thumbs-up to DogCam. The price was cheaper than ordering it direct from VIO, I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today.

Nice mounting idea! Looks pretty stable in the video. Did you use the youtube image stabilisation btw? I would suggest not using it as it makes certain parts of the video look really weird (although that might be better than the constant judders you might get without it) :O

Speaking of BromptonCam, saw a guy today with a go pro on his handle bars blast straight through a red light.
Why record video if you are just going to flout the laws.

Yes, I tried the youtube stabilisation, and having just compared it to the original, I think you're right: the juddering is better.

There have been a few cases of drivers and motorcyclists being prosecuted on the basis of their own camcorder footage, would be amusing to see it happen to a RLJing cyclist too.
