I was browsing around the web to day, the way you do, when I came across the official blog of Brooks England the famous saddle makers and was alarmed to read that "On Monday 1st August 2011, Brooks England will close its factory doors after 145 years in business." I felt it my duty to convoy this new to you, and urge to to read to the end of the blog post.

My incompatibility with Brooks saddles makes me think the joke was under me for a number of very uncomfortable months.

i've done only three things with my brooks saddle:

fitted it to my bike
tried to keep the cover on it when leaving the bike in rain
adjusted the front bolt

still as comfy as ever.
