Brooks saddle lets see how good the after service is.

My brooks swift saddle has bust, the tension bracket has lost a lug. Now to find out if they do spare parts, i know that they do the tension bolt.

They were very good a couple of years ago when a new saddle started to flake: after a very friendly email (mostly apologising for delays due to lockdown) a replacement saddle appeared very fast.

Found this lets hope its a good one that fits the Ti rails. Need to buy the newer bolt as they've changed the design.

I had the same problem a few years ago when the bolt snapped. The tricky part wasn't getting the part, but getting it installed. In the end I shipped the saddle and parts somewhere here in the States and they shipped it back installed. It didn't cost as much as I thought it would.

Some of the bolts are threaded all the way,its the ones that are half threaded that are a problem .

My bolt snapped yesterday and I will just replace it with a stainless coach bolt which will do the same job for a couple of quid at most.

Done that on holiday once, had to find a garage and borrow a grinder to round off the bolt head.😄
