Yeah, I felt it round the ears this morning, time to put the skullcap on I reckon. Still in shorts, although it's been long fingered gloves and long sleeves every morning this week.

Medium long finger gloves for me, and still fingers were cold. Somehow some other rides coped with short finger gloves ! It not fair !

Shorts, short sleeve jersey and summer mitts- although contemplating some arm warmers for the first few miles tomorrow.
Still 12 degrees at 8am this morning so ok for a day or two!!

Headband to keep the ears warm and a buff this morning along with my 'running' gloves under my mitts.
Still in summer tights though so it can't be that cold yet

I like the definitive seasons we get in the UK, except when summer is a continuation of winter.

It still isnt that cold in London, as Ian says. One you get going you will warm up quite quickly.
But I still see plenty of people looking like they're preparing for a trek to the South Pole.

Yeah saw a few of them this morning, fleecey snoods revealing just their eyes- no flesh on display, all their lights on super high. I wonder how they ride home when it's 18 degree's and sunny this afternoon.

over the years I have got it down to a fine art. Key trick is that spring and autumn a cold morning does not mean muumification is needed.!

I was out last night, cycled out at dusk and returned in the dark.
On the way home I really felt I could have done with my long fingered gloves.
I had longs on and by the time I got in I could feel the cold creeping around the top of my thighs, but was happy in my short sleeved shirt - I generate a lot of heat when cycling!
I was a bit too warm in the Buff I had on, so didn't quite get it right

Me too! Nothing better than a November morning ride IMO
