Just read he has become a firefighter in New Jersey.
Good luck to him, and well done for not choosing to live off his dad's loose change or taking a cushy job based on his contacts.

Quite dreadful
He's tougher than the rest....

Just looked it up. He is worth $500 million.
He has 3 kids. One is a singer/song writer, one is an international show jumper and the youngest is a fire fighter.
Good luck to him.

I'm a fan, so biased, but Springsteen has always struck me as one of the good guys.

Fair play to the guy. I tried to join Trumpton but they wouldn't have me for some reason.

I formed the same impression from an interview he gave.

Nothing showbiz or rock star about him, he came across as very down to earth, almost what we used to call 'blue collar'.

I could picture him working in a factory or as a truck driver.

A promoter friend of mine tried to book Springsteen years ago.

He didn't get very far, even Springsteen's agent had an agent, making communication difficult.

If you ever get a chance to see The Boss perform go see him.

His shows are great, non stop from start to finish, no interval and he often overuns the curfew end of show time.

Seconded. I saw him at the Stadium of Light a few years ago. All killer, absolutely no filler and I reckon he played for near 4 hours.
