"The
radish (
Raphanus sativus) is an
edible root vegetable of the
Brassicaceae family..." (wikipedia)
Latin name for turnip is Brassica Rapa Rapa and you can eat the leaves as a veg (very nice in fact)
Watercress - ok a bit more of a stretch but it is a cruciferous veg of the Brassicaceae family also: "
Watercress, with the
botanical name Nasturtium officinale, is a rapidly growing, aquatic or semi-aquatic,
perennial plant native to Europe and Asia, and one of the oldest known
leaf vegetables consumed by humans. It is currently a member of the
family Brassicaceae, botanically related to
garden cress,
mustard and
radish—all noteworthy for their
peppery, tangy, zesty, piquant flavor." (wiki again)
Horseradish is also a brassica.
