I just bought an old good condition BSA racer well it has chrome mudguards so guess its more of a tourer. It has cotterpin pedal arms and wonder if any one knows when cotterpins and when BSA bikes finished being used and made. Its a five gear 21" frame black good condition.

Started young, and still going.
Location
Barnet,
As far as I can find out, BSA cycles, as a business was sold to Raleigh in 1957. I can't find out if Raleigh still made bikes with a BSA badge on them onwards from that period. As a teenager I had a Raleigh bike with cotter pins, that would of been 1971 when my parents bought me the bike as a birthday present.
