But on friday I biked to Tynemouth, met my loony mate Fergus and went surfing for the first time. This was at 0630, so by the time we had enough the sun was just rising. Then off to Sainsbury for breakfast before getting to work at 0830. If you ever get fed up with the ride in, there are ways of varying things!

If you ever get fed up with the ride in, there are ways of varying things!
You are right,bus or tube and however bad the commute is I only succummed in Feb 2003 for one week and that was bad enough.Still prefer to cycle and I have been enjoying my cycling recently even though I have a cold now including on this mornings commute.
