I had a delivery last week, wrapped in bubblewrap, but you can't pop it any more.

This new stuff is made of one inch square cells linked together along each row. So now if you try to pop it, the air inside just goes into the adjacent cells.

This is bad news and I urge all poppers to rise in revolt.

Just call me Chris...
Don't worry, the old poppable stuff is still available

And if you don't have any to hand, you can even get an iphone app to virtually pop bubble wrap on (true)

That is tragic! One of my favourite pastimes.

I once went to Mildenhall CTC Rally. As I'd gone on the train with my Birdy and very little luggage, like a sleeping bag & just a change of clothing, a friend said he would lend me a tent as he had two. He would also bring a sleeping mat.

There was a large traffic jam on the way and so he was late. Eventually he turned up with the good news and the bad. He had remembered a tent but forgotten the sleeping mat. Amongst the group who were camping together we found a pile of newspapers on someone's van, and a pile of bubble wrap. I was really cold in the night as the tent was a great big expedition tent and meant to be shared with about 5 people, not little me on my ownio. Everytime I turned over the bubble wrap (large bubble) popped. I think I eventually had to wake my friend up and borrow a track suit to sleep in.
