    Hi everyone,
Due to living in a valley of a dry river I am served plenty of my least favourite conditions - wind. I was planning on buying some rollers until I saw the price of them - £120 is the cheapest good quality ones.

So does anyone have experience in building rollers, professionally done or bodge jobs, any knowledge is helpful.

There's an article here that gives some basic information. A possible source of 50mm diameter rollers that have bearings would be an engineering suppliers. 50mm diameter, 500mm long costs about £12 each. They use them to make conveyors.
