Built in oven.....which type/which make?

Yes....our built in oven is going to that big scrapper in the sky.
It is electric double oven with gas hob. It came with the kitchen and is not a recognised make.
10 years old..... so technology will have moved on massively.
Money not too much of an issue although I dont want to throw it away on just a fancy name.
Cant be induction as we have just bought new (non induction) pans.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

Rip it out and get a Rangemaster with induction hob. Great cooker.

I think ours is a neff. On the down side, it's averaging a repair every other year. On the plus side, it's fairly old but all spares seem still available.

Our hob is now a gorenje induction which we got because there is no gas here but I'd now say it rivals gas because it's so much easier to clean and deal with spills before they burn on. But that's not what you wanted to hear.

We have 2 built in NEFF ovens in the new house, they're rather rubbish TBH. We had a SMEG at the old place and that was great, had a non-fan option and the pyro clean function which was nice.

The Neff in Abingdon has been good in terms of cooking performance, particularly the high airflow at the top of the oven.
It has had a few repairs (and to be fair a very hard life) but as said upthread, parts are readily available, cheap and easy to replace. I’d have another just because of the cooking performance.

I have a Zanussi pyrolytic job, only a single. Never needs cleaning. Pyro setting, 400deg for an hour or whatever. Pile of ash, wipe clean

Gas hob, pain to keep clean. I’d get an induction next and new pans

Gorenje for us. Electric fan oven and gas hob. Spares a plenty online and still going strong after a number of years

Bosch here only had them a year, but they seem good. had Neff before had to fit two elements in ten years, easy job and parts readily available. Both good makes.

IKEA own brand combi built in, and an FO huge free-standing SMEG range here.

Always had gas ovens before and thought they would give the best results after poor experience of old fashioned electric fan ovens that seemed to produce a lot of smoke, noise and heat but not great cooking results.
Had a new kitchen installed early in 2013 and the company that did this were big on Neff so we went along with it. I have to admit, I have been blown away by the Neff ovens, quiet, clean, great results and touch wood, reliable. One, possibly both have needed new bulbs (they are oven specific so I bought a couple as spares via mail order) but otherwise haven't missed a beat despite regular use.

Hob is a big Neff induction job. Again after years of swearing by a good gas hob the induction thing has won me over completely, can't think of a single downside to a good induction system other than you might need new pans that are induction compatible.

The slide away door on the ovens is great.
