Hi all.
Got a bulge in my rear tyre, it is on the outside of the tyre (where it makes contact with the road) not near the rim. Could a weak rim have caused this or is it more likely to be damaged tyre cord? Hoping a new tyre is all that's needed and not a whole new wheel.
It's a MTB with urban style tyres. The tyre has done around 1800 miles but has not been removed recently, god knows how many miles the wheel has done as the bike was bought second hand (though I can see no visible damage to the rim).
