burn in period for resin pads

Hello all,

Just changed my pads on my mechanical disk brakes and wanted to know whats the consensus on burn in times or procedure.

I have gone for a quick ride and done a few stops and a descent with the brakes half on, but still not as good as before.

I believe that you are to avoid hard braking while they bed-in. I would think a 60 minute ride whilst applying the brakes frequently should do it for starters, and then they should continue to improve after that.

Did you get grease/oil on them when you fitted them?

Try cleaning the rotor with meths (NOT white spririt)
