Bus Driving

My new rear view camera (MD80) now allows me to demonstrate what happens behind me as well as in front of me. At the moment it is attached to the rear of my helmet, however, when I get a chance I will cobble together a bike mount.

This is the type of driving that my MD80 will likely pick up over the coming months. It's a McKindless bus and driver.

funny that, you look to be going faster when looking back?

Will you soon be carrying a lighting man, makeup artist and a sound crew;)

No you don't.
Just go out there and enjoy your cycling without having to worry if you have filmed a baddy or a goody or whatever...

Nice driving!

p.s. your road positioning through that roundabout exit is significantly better since we all last discussed it. ;)

Doesnt have to film bad drivers - Hobbes could use it for other purposes like showing everyone how fun cycling is, sports rides etc.

As I've said many times before, you also dont need to post up vids either, people use them for insurance too. Mine was very handy for that last year.

E-mail to the bus company wouldn't go amiss, a bit of carrot to go with the stick they probably usually get might make a nice change for them.

I probably will when I get a chance.

I actually agree with you both. Enjoying cycling is the only thing that gets me up on the cold dark mornings rather than worrying about what potential issues I may have, but it's also nice to know you have some form of digital witness if things go wrong.

HOWEVER - if I'm honest, I don't actually have a sensible reason for wanting one other than being a Gadget Geek !!!!! :tired:

That's as good a reason as the next...certainly a factor in me buying one
