I heard from Vista print after a few very firm emails reinforcing my statutory rights - ie the quality is poor, not as designed and not fit for purpose.
They eventually offered me a credit note for use with vista print which I refused as I would like a full refund and to take my business elsewhere where I know the quality will be good and reliable.
I've not heard from them in a few days - I will be contacting Consumer Direct but I'm looking at getting my money refunded through Visa Chargeback.
Now...if I wait for Vistaprint failures to refund my money before I purchase new cards, I'll be waiting for a long while so going to press ahead and get some new ones done.
Thanks TT. Good luck with getting a refund. I'd used one of their offers, so I was only hit for about £15, which in the great scheme of things isn't worth fighting over. I just won't use them again. FWIW, I'd go with Visa. The fact that VP have offered a credit note looks to me like an explicit admission that they took your money but didn't deliver. I think VISA would probably see that as enough to give you a refund.
I'm leaning towards Moo meself, on the basis of this thread.
Moo is good - just spent the last hour trying to convince myself that the design of a cartoon creature on a bike shaped thing is a professional image...that amongst other things were deemed unsuitable!!
Trying to tie in the colour scheme with my website which is proving a nightmare - I think I'll have to actually try and design something myself as I'm being anal about 'branding'..oh god what has happened to me...?
If you go for Moo - would you be able to recommend them to me? Could do with a 10% discount.
