I like my books. The feel of a hard back in my hands is bliss

I think that they are too heavy. When I was in hospital recently, a nurse dug up a 530 page hardback book for me to read and it made my arms tired holding it up!

Did you ever get it going again? There are lots of suggestions online involving holding buttons down for extended periods to cause a hard reset.

I tried lots, I was going to crack the thing open and disconnect the battery but got offered a new one for forty quid so didn't bother.

My Kindle was bought to stop me filling every space in the flat with more books; I'd not long bought a new bookcase at that point and it was filling up fast, and I didn't have room for another one.

It has slowed me down a little, but I still trawl the charity shops regularly and come away with more books. Problem is that I can't bear to part with books I've enjoyed, so the space issue is never going to go away!
