Here for rides.
Friday I met up with one of my oldest friends. By which I mean a gentleman who is one of the oldest people I know, I've only known him for about 30 years.

"I still go to Labour Party meetings, but they tell the people not to listen to me, I can still see and read without glasses, I can still hear well enough, I can walk for miles every day, but Greg, I just can't sh1t like used to, old age is such a bugger."

He's around ninety, took part in the Indo-Pak war of '47, once thrashed me at squash when I was in my 20's, and has every one of his marbles.

What has an oldster said to you recently that made you laugh or took you by surprise?

My late grandpa at his 3rd wedding at the age of 78 talking about his forthcoming honeymoon. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, we'll just lie there and say it to each other.

there was a twinkle in his eye right to the end at 92. I hope I'm half as lucky.
