Buying Advice

Hi All,
First post on here. I am looking at buying my first road bike. Came up with the Specialised Allez Sport, Scott Speedster S50 and S40 and the Boardman Race.

Now I think I am going to go towards the Scott and was wondering if anyone could advise if the upgrade to the S40 for an extra £100 is worth the money?
I prefer the design of the S50 but if the S40 is better value then I will go for that.
Do you think its worth getting the double chain set aswell or the triple.

I havent been out on the roads for a while, had a mountain bike and did a few runs but want to get into road cycling.

Can't comment on the others, but I have the Boardman Race and I love it

Iv'e Just bought the scott 30 if I was choosing between the 50 and 40 i'd pick the 40 with the sora shifters

I'd pick the one that fits best first, feels best second, offers best value third and finally looks best last.

If it looks great but doesn't fit right you won't ride it, simple.

PS: There are many other manufacturers to look at as well.
