Thanks for that information, didn't know that.
I would check that it is actually correct before you let your licence expire!
You didn't spot my other deliberate mistake in the above post. Have you ever seen a Tesco RDC that actually bothered to employ a CLEANER?
there are an amazing amount of farkwits who will work for next to nothing providing they get a nice shiny truck to drive
I never did like driving bling lorries; the owners tend to be a bit paranoid about drivers putting a scratch on them. I once did a double manned shift from Prestwick to the Airbus plant at Broughton, near Chester, and back again, with the guy who owned this......

I was quite happy that it was in for a service or something on that particular day, and he had a rented Scania for that trip. God only knows how much that paint job cost him. He has since replaced that Scania with this one:

Both paint jobs look horrendous IMHO.. Well seen he was one of the few people making good money in haulage as an owner/driver on a lucrative contract working the maximum legal hours whenever possible. A real dyed in the wool truck anorak, which made for an "interesting" shift!

It's 25 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday 0800/1300) as a maintenance/security/gardener/oddjob/mini-bus driver at a local long established business. Sounds like it was tailor made for my circumstances and interests; so here's hoping I've found a good 'un. Time will tell.
Sounds great, hope the routine won't spoil it for you

Aye, I know the companies you mean. Nice looking blingy motors driven by newly qualified drivers being worked to the bone for minimum wage.
