I remember when I first joined CC and posted on P+L without realising the implications. I expressed dismay at the vitriol and was severely reprimanded by "User" for expressing such weakness in the face of the enemy and for being an upstart newbie. I thought for ages that I'd been censured by the person that ran the site! You reassured me that it was always like that and that 'they' didn't mean it... took a while to find out who "they" were.

MacB's one of the worst, frickin' nazi. I occasionally post some deep insight into an issue to which I have very little knowledge and more often than not I'm completely ignored and if not ignored then ridiculed. I ask you, what way is that to treat a time-wasting tosspot?

Must confess I rarely venture into the Badlands that is p&l. I poke me nose in every now and agin, but I don't stay long. It has a musky odour of bile, unwashed socks & acne'd self-righteousness that really isn't to my taste. Seems a tad odd to abandon cc altogether on account of p&l....isn't that throwing out the baby with the bathwater?
