Always been a dream of mine to complete the c2c route in one whack none stop.

Just starting to get back into longer distance ride to test the waters, and see if the old legs can still manage it.

What's your oppinions on this idea?

Do-able but you'll need a support vehicle.

Doable without any support (it's only 135 miles) but you will need an early start because of the terrain, I'd advise sticking to the on-road alternative routes, and I would plan your stops carefully.

The organised ride doesn't allow any 26" bike and I ride a hybridised 26" MTB so wouldn't be allowed to ride it  stupidly as I out ride a lot of full roadies on my commute and local rides
