Just thought I'd give you guys an update.

I debated and had a look at a few, and ended up with a shortlist of Trek Madone 2.1 2015 and Cube Peloton SL 2015. Yesterday I finally placed my order for the Cube!

It was the combination of good looks, internal cabling, light weight, good wheels and a mix of 105 and ultegra 11speed that clinched it!

ETA is early Nov! I'll post a pic when I get it.

Great news.

This will make you eligible to be a COC Member (Cube Owners Club).

'Tis a bit of an unofficial group or collection of Cube owning guys (there may be girls too) on CC, of which there are many.

I may well start a thread similar to that used by Triban Owners whereby any issues (e.g technical) can be discussed or upgrades/modifications & photos can be posted, as well as general chit chat about the brand & other stuff.

Hopefully it will gain some following.

Congrats on your new bike.

Cube Peloton Race 2014 owner.

Cheers @SteCenturion

I would be glad to see a Triban type forum, being an owner of a Triban 3 (Red of course...) for the last couple of years I used both the thread here, and the Triban Owners Club website a lot when trying to fettle the bike!

I have upgraded my wheels big time on my Synapse AL 105, so no worries in that department mate. The Synapse is awesome and well tooled, so if I was starting to look again I would go for the Synapse again as i love it.

Went and fetched it today, and very nice it is too. I only had time to put it on the turbo to get it all set up, and did a quick half hour on it. I had been determined to put a Charge Spoon on it, but the stock saddle feels more or less spot on for my sit bones, far better than the Selle X1 on the previous Cube. I may well leave it on for the time being. Only downside is that I've been called into hospital for a gall bladder op on Tuesday, so I'll have to mothball it for a few weeks. Pics when I get time to upload them.

Felt or Cube? I have a Felt, hubby has a cube, both great bikes. Cube are a German build, solid and reliable, good choice, hope you enjoy!!

I am in this situation myself, I love the look of cube bikes, always wanted one, but also had thoughts of a Planet X carbon
Would really appreciate any recommendations, this is an early 50th present to myself, and the first time I have had up to a grand to spend on a bike, so come on people, cube, Planet X , dale, Spesh, dolan, ribble, .....etc.

Regards
Tony.
