How do you prefer to route your cables under bar tape?

Errrr.....
Interested to find out how you guys prefer to do this, and why.

I'm talking about Campy style brake/gear shifters, in case anyone's wondering!

Eh? Why - because that is where the cables are supposed to go due to the way they come out of the shifter.

How? Install the cable, wrap it with a few bits of insulating tape, and then cover with the bar tape starting at the bottom of the drops.

Always starting by wrapping in an outward direction from the end of the bars i.e. clockwise on the right bar, anti on the left.

Sorry I haven't answered your question.

My Ergos have front or back option, and asking at my LBS one guy prefers both front, the other prefers front & back. Just interested, s'all.

Ah - with the edit and poll it makes more sense. Gears at the back, brakes at the front. I've never quite understood that with Ergos - the gear bit has two channels, but the brake only has one so unless you want to make a weird shape and route the brake over the top of the bar, gears have to go through the back.
