Needle nose pliers are your friend. Plus shift into lowest gear. usually an inspection hatch you can remove with tiny bolt for easier access to cable. New cable can be fiddly threading and removing bar tape can help if getting nowhere.

I eventually managed to wriggle the nipple/frayed end out of the 'brifter', with a pair of suture forceps,then the fun part started.....
..... trying to feed it into the sheathing that was under the bar-tape
But, it worked :notworthy:

Normal service is resumed (or will, when the new cable beds in/stretches)
