Cadence + HRM

Hi,

I know this topic has come up in the past but things have moved on since then. I am looking for any recommends for a cadence and HRM that I can use with my turbo trainer. No real need for a SAT Nav one but would like it to be able to be loaded to an app so I can monitor ....hopefully...the improvements, showing speed, cadence, HR, distance travelled.

Distance on a turbo trainer, you mean time elapsed presumably?

The VDO does that but on a turbo you won't get speed or distance because it works off the front wheel but heart rate and cadence work although not very accurately/

Ditto - Im looking at buying the Tacx Vector is it better to go ant+ or BLE - ive already got HRMs and im not going to be using connect or polar flow or anything like strava

Depending on your budget, how about an old Garmin 705 with a cadence sensor and hrm strap?

My Garmin gives me speed, distance, HRM and cadence when on the turbo. The distance and speed do not mean a lot though.
