Cadence sensor.

I have installed my cadence sensor on my bike this afternoon and linked it to my Garmin Edge 820 but have not been out yet to test it. Will the cadence show the screen automatically next time I go out or do I need to do something else?

You'll need to add a cadence data screen (current, average or max) to see it in real time. Without one it will still record but you won't be able to see it until after the ride. I'm not quite sure how you do it on a 820 but it cant be that hard its under profile settings/data fields I think on my garmin.

Every garmin have had you have to go into settings and turn on cadence then search for your sensor .

Well, I did 16 miles this morning to try out my new cadence sensor and I am pleased to report that all is well, it works.
