I wonder how many layers one could construct, just from shop bought pies of difference sizes - topped off with a teeny tiny cocktail pork pie, of course!

We have no idea a the moment, so far our wedding plans consist almost entirely of vague ideas about what we want at the buffet!

I would like a cake of cheese, and NT would like a cake of, well, cake, and pies are another good idea. Maybe we need to think of as many foods as possible that can be stacked in tiers!

Pancakes, but that would be quite a low stack...

My preferred cake would be traditional wedding fruit cake but without the jaw breaking icing on the outside.

When I was first married I ate the whole of the second tier of cake!

We could have a stack consisting of pork pie, cheese and cake on different layers.

The whole cake can be cut an eaten as the buffet. One tier for each course. The coffee at the end would have to be one of Crinklylion's coffee cakes though.
