Has anyone seen this whispy stuff that's attached to the top of my plants?

I know the water's due a change, but I've never had this before.

It's algae of some kind. Pick as much as possible out and do a decent water change.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but the plants are artificial, plastic and cloth.

If you had real plants, it would help control the algae.

It it recurs, keep the tank in complete darkness for a week after a clean - put a towel or similar over it. It should prevent it from growing back again.
