Was I the only person who thought it was a bit too dignified though? I thought we'd at least have gone round the bridge a couple of times? The group even seemed to stop (shock horror!) at some of the red lights?

You can show concern and support without being an arse about it. The sheer numbers helped, and I for one certainly would not have joined in if it got any more disruptive than it was.

I'm not so sure you are rubbish. I was at the front at Waterloo East, and watched the entire group go through. I don't think that there was anything like 2000

My own impression was nearer 800. Bummer really, because I wish it was more like 2,500.

I'm going on what the Police gave as their official number. And LCC had people counting too. In any event, was significantly larger than last time.

I think the 'polite' approach was good. Need to show we're mainstream normal people. For now....

I foolishly walked down narrow street just before the start. Cyclists all the way down there!

it was bigger than the Martlets FNRttC, but not by some grand multiple. My guess was 700 to 800.....

which is less than last time. However good the LCC's case (and their proposal is clearly an improvement on TfL's) it might make sense to go easy on the flashmobs
