I'm considering doing the Cambrian Challenge "Gwernant Grovel" - about 55 miles.
I've never done anything of this sort before and would like to know what it entails and what procedures I should follow. Do I just turn up (having pre-entered) and they send me on my way ? Do I just try to 'latch on' to a group of riders ? Do we all leave at the same time ? Will it be competitive ? Will there be a drink or cafe stop ?
I guess it leaves Oswestry and heads towards Llangollen and then probably directly south over the hill towards Glyn Ceiriog. After that, I'm not sure. Does anyone have any details of the course ?
Any advice/information gratefully received
