Well done! I didn't do it but like many riders I hate the wind. I'm doing the Gran Fondo Tour of Cambridgeshire in a few weeks and im getting worried that it could turn out to be another windy day on the Fens making a straightforward 86 miles into a whole world of pain.

Well some of us put up with it all the time(mostly),add in some rain and it's a big load of fun with some good old HTFU thrown in^_^.
The main thing is it seems to move around independent of where it's supposed to be coming from according to the forecasts:blink: although on the plus side a tail wind on a flat fen road is pretty awesome:bicycle: .

As one of the bods mentioned after a nice headwind part of a club run,you just have to treat it as a training tool rather than avoid it.

The only thing that kept me going over the last 25 miles of the Cambridge 100 --- was about 7 pints of Guinness and a number of single malt whiskeys --- after that i was feeling no pain when i went to bed ( from what i can remember ) !!!!!
