Builder friend of mine took down a shed for a customer to build a summer house.

With a few repairs and a lock of paint the shed came up lovely. It was given free but ha to take two neglected bikes with it.

I would love to do something with these but realistically haven't got the time and need the space in the shed for other things.

Would prefer someone have and do something with then otherwise I'm taking to the tip?

One is a 'Carlton Corsair' the other a 'Kalkhoff Comtesse'

Collection from WR9

Anyone?

I think the Corsair has a 531 frame, which makes it worth a few quid. Too big for me, but please don't skip it - there's only a finite number of those left in the world

no worries @biggs682 yours on two conditions....

1 - you promise to do something with it and not just stick on ebay!
2 - you take the Kalkhoff as well

deal?

If it's not a deal for him then may I be next in line please? ... accepting the terms (I had a Corsair and foolishly sold it a couple of years ago) No problem to arrange prompt collection.

The Kalkoff would suit one of my neighbours who is getting on a bit and decided he needs a step-through frame to to ride back and forth to the farm where he still works.

Thanks

Rob

Carlton for @biggs682

Kalkhoff for @robgul

Both bikes finding good homes and Robert is once again your father's brother, job sorted :becool:

Ah - he's not I'm afraid - the Carlton is my primary desire to replace the one I sold - I don't want to appear greedy, but it's both or nothing.

Thanks

Two "projects" - collected this evening - thanks.

I'll be giving the Carlton a good clean and transplanting the wheels and running gear from a fixed that I've been running.

The Kalkhoff needs a bit more work, and a hunt round for some wheels to fit to the excellent frame.
